Duck Or Shed

A quirky little building from 1931. Built for a duck farmer. A famous topic in architecture. The Duck or the Decorated Shed. If grocery stores looked like shopping carts. If bars looked like a six pack of brews. If banks looked like a debt collection bill (or a bailout policy). Back when architectural theory meant something. Now everything’s decorated sheds. Or now everything’s duck buildings. I forget. All to show you how much money somebody has or how much money somebody’s saving. Aside from that it really is a cute little structure. Nothing on my Ohioan basket building though. For a friend of mine.
