Self Storage

Rides along the self storage. Self storage facilities are an easy tenant. They're there to pay the rent, which is the rent that you pay them. That rent that's paid to store your stuff. Stuff that maybe we all have too much of. I love my stuff. I have a lot of it. but when you see all of your stuff neatly organized in the chaos 10x10 bin, very conflicting. Every material possession that makes you You tucked away besides fellow units of hoarders, house cleaners, and secret stowaways. Everything placed in one box to be accidentally set on fire or doused in a pipe break. But its out of sight and (slightly) out of mind. That feeling for freedom. Cleaning out my own unit (I was between places) was one of the most stressful and rewarding parts of adulthood so far. These facilities are not good tenants for the neighborhood. They are a good reminder of how much stuff we all got and don't want to get rid of yet. But they make some nice lighting at night.
