In a cabin still standing somehow after a century and some change. Places like this usually exist only in the referenced footnotes of the National Geographic. Haunted even if by old electrical wiring and rattled pipes. If ghosts smell like old lacquers, rusted springs of the storm door. The trees, the bugs, and the paper to shred.
